Sarah Dallas Piker, 86, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, May 30, 2019. She was born November 17, 1932 in Swifton, Arkansas a daughter of the late Marion Henry and Edna Josephine (Decker) Scott. Sister Piker, as she was respectfully known, was the widow of Rev. Thomas Piker who preceded her in death in 2016. They enjoyed 69 years of marriage and serving the Lord together. She held ministerial credentials through the Arkansas Assemblies of God and, after the death of her husband, held the position of Pastor of the Bald Knob Assembly of God. Sister Piker was retired from the Bald Knob School District. Survivors: Children, Thomas W. Piker (Judy) of Searcy, Sarah Linda (Piker) Hirons (Glen) of Wynne and Lavon Piker (Sandra) of Fouke; grandchildren, Jennifer McPherson (Jerod), Jason Piker (Annie), Vince Vire (Terry), Michael Hirons (Sarah), Nicholas Hirons (Courtney), Jerrod Piker (Bethany) and Alison Cooper (Brad); 23 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, special friends and church family. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Tony and Melinda Vire and several siblings. Visitation: Friday, 6-8 p.m., Powell Funeral Home.
