George Ragan Jr.

George Ragan Jr. was born on September 25, 1937 in Enid, Okla. to George Sr. and Avis (Cossey) Ragan. On October 29, 2019 George passed peacefully at the age of 82. George had a passion for racing horses and loved watching them being trained and running at the track. He had a number of very successful horses and loved being in the winner's circle. George was also known for his cooking and was always cooking for a crowd. George served his country in the United States Air Force and served in the Korean War with an honorable discharge. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. George was preceded in death by his wife Mary in 2016; parents, George Sr. and Avis; and brother, Bill Ragan. Left to cherish the memories of George are his children, Stacey Crockett and husband John, David Ragan and wife Cynthia; sister in law, Sheila Case and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends. No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation with care handled by Primrose Funeral Service, Norman, Okla.
