Jerry Lawrence Yeager

Jerry Lawrence Yeager, 68 year-old resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, died on November 1, 2019, at his home surrounded by his family. Jerry was born on September 7, 1951 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, to Lawrence "Wort" Leslie Yeager and Lillian Smith Yeager. He graduated from Siloam Springs High School in 1969 and went to the Camden Police Academy. Jerry started working for the Siloam Springs Police Department in 1972. He served as the Chief of Police in Lincoln and finished his career in law enforcement as a deputy for the Washington County Sheriff's Office. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Janie and Norma; two nephews, Cody and Phillip; and two nieces, Phyllis and Pam. He is survived by two daughters, Brandy Yeager-Ellison and husband Bo of Rogers, Arkansas, and Britney Holland of Rogers, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Derrick, Michael, Lacie, Lillian, Asher, and Breanna; brother, Timmy Lee Yeager and wife Diana of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; four sisters, Janet Pack and husband Howard, Linda Yeager, Jimmie Mills and husband Doug, and Betsy Morgan and husband Kyle, all of Siloam Springs; numerous nieces and nephews; and his dear friends, Kenneth Beeks and Ginger Linam. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Monday, November 4, 2019 at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, with Pastor Aaron Asencio officiating. Burial will follow at Weddington Cemetery in Weddington, Arkansas. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m., Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Wasson Funeral Home.
