Veronica Catherine Kaplon, 92, of North Little Rock passed away on November 3, 2019. She was born in East St. Louis, Illinois to the late Louis Banaszak and Mary Zajac Banaszak on November 24, 1926.
Veronica is preceded in death by her husband of fifty-two years, Edmund Kaplon; parents; four sisters: Frances Pasierb, Elizabeth Pruss, Martha Wilk, and Della Gubanski and two brothers: August Banaszak and Alois Banaszak. She is survived by her sisters, Florence Szparaga, Angeline Kaplon, Margaret Piechocki, Carolyn Evans; and numerous nieces and nephews who loved her.
Veronica loved to fish and garden. She was a lifelong member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, a member of the Altar Society, the Rosary Sodality, and the Sacristian.
Visitation will be at 9:30 a.m., Rosary at 10 a.m., and Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery. Online guestbook at www.SmithFamilyCares.com.
