Roger Ramirez

Roger Ramirez, 60, of Lowell passed away Sunday, November 3, 2019 at his home. He was born June 12, 1959 in Big Spring, Texas to Lorenzo and Refugia Guevara Ramirez. Roger worked as a Supervisor in the facility department at the Wal Mart AMP and the Walton Art Center. He loved his family especially his baby girl "Shannon Doherty". He also enjoyed helping people including ones at his job and all the neighborhood kids. He would give you the shirt off his back, he also loved his Razorbacks and Oakland Raiders. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Yuca Knapton, and two brothers-in-law, Wayne Knapton and Pat Beeler. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Ramirez of the home; one son, Travis Ramirez of Georgia; one daughter, Shannon Rene Hernandez and husband Jose of Fayetteville; seven brothers, Cato Ramirez and wife Shirley, J.R. Ramirez and wife Tracy, Roland Ramirez and wife Betty, Abel Ramirez and wife Marcia, Gilbert Ramirez and wife Jana, Joe Ramirez all of Huntsville and Rick Ramirez and Janet of Springdale; five sisters, Tina Beeler of Gentry, Thelma Thompson and husband Frank, Annie Burger and husband David, Becky Varner and husband Larry all of Huntsville and Mary Miller and husband Mark of Fayetteville; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday, November 8, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale with Pastor Kenny Eden officiating. Burial will follow at Wilson Cemetery.
