Myrom E. Conley, age 95, of Benton, passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2019. He was born October 6, 1924 in Pollard, Arkansas. Myrom was preceded in death by his parents, James E. and Flossie Conley; his wife, Viola D. Conley; sister, Marjorie Gumm and a brother, James D. Conley.
He was an active member of the Lion's Club for over 60 years and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Benton for over 60 years where he was an usher.
He is survived by two daughters, Nanette (Gary) Ramsey and Sherry (Dickie) Kentner; four grandchildren, Chris (Donna) Ramsey, Kelli (Kenny) Burns, Eric (Carol) Jones and Amy (Jay) Turner and six great-grandchildren, Gabby Ramsey, Brayden Reddin, Gracie Ramsey, Dawson Turner, Justin Reddin and Hayley Turner.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, November 7 at Ashby Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, November 8 at First United Methodist Church in Benton with burial to follow at Pine Crest Memorial Park. Rev. Ben Crismon will be officiating. Memorials may be made to the Lion's Club or the First United Methodist Church in Benton.
