Dorothy L. Sullivan

Dorothy L. Sullivan, age 92, of Fayetteville, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2019. She was born July 17, 1927 in Fitzhugh, Arkansas, to Thomas J. Looney and Emma Maye Marlar Looney. She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Sullivan Sr. and brother, Billy Gene Looney. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church and UMW Circle 7. She was a retired teacher, and a member of Washington County Retired Teachers Association. She received a BSBA and MED degrees from the University of Arkansas and was a member of Delta Delta Delta. She is survived by a son, Jim Sullivan and wife Ann of Garrett Park, Maryland; two grandchildren, Racheal Davis and husband Chris of Fayetteville and Anna Sullivan of Bella Vista, Arkansas and a great-grandson, Oliver Sullivan. Visitation will be 2 p.m. – 4 p.m., Sunday, November 10, 2019 at Moore's Chapel. Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Monday at Moore's Chapel followed by burial at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
