Genella I. Leach

Genella Irene Rogers Leach, 83, passed away November 6, 2019 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Born October 28, 1936 in Dumas, Arkansas and was the daughter of the late Roy Jeff Rogers and Veatrue Beatty Rogers. Preceded in death by her parents, a brother Frank Rogers and her husband, Earl Lee Leach. Genella was a member of Watson Baptist Church, graduate of Dumas High School the class of 1955 and member of Dumas High School Lady Cats. She was the secretary at Wolff Brothers Department store and retired after 27 years. She was an avid gardener growing and sharing both vegetables and flowers. Genella was a friend to her neighbors and loved by her whole family. Survivors are her two daughters, Pam Taylor and husband, Chuck of Dumas, Arkansas and Lesa Ringo of Gillett, Arkansas, three brothers, John New of Jacksonville, Arkansas; Larry Joe Rogers of Hacker Heights, Texas and Jeff Brent Rogers of Rison, Arkansas; two sisters, Frances Beard of White Hall, Arkansas and Mary (Jimmie) Scales of Watson, Arkansas; sister-in-law, Glenda Rogers of Greenville, Texas; three grandchildren, Drew (Nolan) Moore, Farrell Taylor and fiance' John Godwin and Jase Ringo and two great grandchildren, Avery and Maddox Moore. Visitation held 5–7 p.m., Friday, November 8, 2019 at Griffin Funeral Home. Funeral services held 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Watson Baptist Church with Rev. Harold Cantley and Rev. Larry Donaldson officiating followed by interment in Watson Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Watson Baptist Church, 305 Clayton, Watson, Arkansas 71674.
