Joella Hollingsworth

Joella Faye Hollingsworth, 78, of Lowell died Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Willard Walker Hospice House. She was born June 2, 1941 in Combs, Ark. to Virgil and Hazel (Joslin) Judy. Joella was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jimmy Ray Hollingsworth, and one brother, Darrell Judy. Survivors include one son, William Hollingsworth (Tracey) of Wesley; four daughters: Regina Hankins (Roger) of Lowell, Cheryl Smith of Fayetteville, Nancy Mackey of Rogers, and Shonna Stevens (Josh) of Prairie Grove; three brothers: Richard Judy (Crystal) of Missouri, Larry Judy (Kathy) of Elkins, and James Judy; 10 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and lots of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Joella did not like being idle. She often worked two jobs, and she loved waitressing and managing restaurants. She enjoyed meeting and interacting with customers. She was the first female manager at the Lowell Moose Lodge. While managing the Salvation Army, she met lots of people. Those people would come up to her just to talk when meeting her somewhere else. She loved alligators, and has asked to have her ashes scattered in Louisiana near her beloved gators and the ocean. She would sit for hours by the beach, especially at night when most people were gone. She always used coupons. This was her all-time consuming joy, to find something on sale and be able to use a coupon to get a better deal. She liked to travel, and leaves behind a lot of family who will miss her dearly. The family will hold a private memorial service to honor Joella. Arrangements: Epting Funeral Home of Bentonville. Condolences: www.eptingfuenralhome.webs.com.
