Marilyn Morphew Watt

Marilyn Morphew Watt, 90, of Pace, Florida, died peacefully in her home on November 8, 2019. She was born May 10, 1929, in Stuttgart, Arkansas, to Howard and Zula Morphew. Marilyn taught American History and Civics at White Hall High School and was a champion bridge player, an avid reader, and a classic film enthusiast. An animal lover, she adopted and took wonderful care of many dogs throughout her lifetime. Marilyn is survived by her four children: Howard Huff of Pace, Florida; Sunny Huff and her spouse, Patricia Brown of Pensacola, Florida; Gordon Huff of Saint Louis, Missouri; and John Watt and his spouse, Deidra Schleicher of Ames, Iowa. She also is survived by her two grandchildren, Sarah Watt and Catherine Watt. In keeping with her wishes, funeral services are private and for immediate family only. www.turpin-co.com.
