Michael "Mike" Franks

Michael "Mike" Franks, 67, of Conway, went to be with the Lord on November 9, 2019. He is the son of the late Raymond and Joanna Cooper Franks. He was retired from pharmaceutical sales and enjoyed going to Greers Ferry lake with family. Mike was known for his upbeat spirit, candid humor, and always putting a smile on people's faces. He was loved very much by his friends and family who will miss his great stories and ability to make everyone laugh. Mike was a charter member of the Woodland Heights Baptist Church in Conway. He is also preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Marilee Cupp Franks. Survivors include son, David (Mechelle) Franks, of Jonesboro; daughter, Allison (Kyle) Land, of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Madison and Garrett McKisson, of Jonesboro, Rhett Land and soon-to-be grandson, Knox Land, both of Fayetteville; and siblings, Bob (Joan) Franks, of Sherwood, Debbie (Bob) Galbreath, of Simsboro, Louisiana, and Belinda (Lee) Crawford, of Paragould. Visitation will be Wednesday night from 5-7 p.m. at Heath Funeral Home in Paragould, Arkansas. Funeral service will begin at 10 a.m. in the chapel on Thursday in Paragould. Burial will follow at Linwood cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Norman, Floyd Bradley, George Newton, Lee Crawford, Bobby Joe Willie, Bob Galbreath, and James Thomas.
