Curtis Ray Brown

Curtis Ray Brown, age 83, of Springdale, passed away Saturday, November 9th, 2019. He was born July 13, 1936, to the late Elmo and Aline King Brown. Also, preceded in death by his parents and a son Christopher Ray Brown. He served four years in the United States Navy in company 404. Curtis was a dispensing Optician in Northwest Arkansas for more than 40 years, finishing his career with the Walmart Optical lab in Fayetteville. Survivors include his wife, Nina K. Opela (Thompson) whom he married June 15, 1985; step-daughter, Michelle Eichler and granddaughter Callie Jane Eichler; two dogs, Jackie and B.J., one grand pup Rosie; mother-in-law, Velma Opela of Fayetteville; nephew, Slader Agee, many cousins, friends, co-workers, and wonderful neighbors of Tontitown. A Celebration of Life Service: 2 p.m., Saturday, November 16th, 2019, visitation one hour prior to service at Westfield Chapel Funeral Home 3236 W. Huntsville Ave., Springdale, Ark. 72762.
