Rhea Dunegan

Rhea Segraves Dunegan of Fayetteville Arkansas passed away November 10, 2019 at Butterfield Trail Village. She was born November 14, 1927 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to Lillian and Raymond Ash. She was a graduate of Fayetteville high school and attended the University of Arkansas where she was a member of the Delta Gamma sorority. Rhea married architect Warren (Sig) Segraves in 1946. She was very active in the Fayetteville community. She and Sig enjoyed boating and made many river voyages from Arkansas to Florida. After Sig's death in 1978 Rhea moved to Longboat Key Florida where she lived for 32 years. She enjoyed the Florida lifestyle and was a docent at the Ringling Museum of Art in Sarasota Florida. In Florida she married John (Jack) Dunegan. Rhea and Jack moved back to Fayetteville in 2010. Rhea is survived by her son Patrick Segraves and wife Denise of Palm Beach, Florida; daughter, Janie Segraves Ward and husband Dean of Fayetteville Arkansas. Rhea was a longtime member of Central United Methodist Church. The family would like to thank her loving companions and the caregivers at Butterfield Trail Special Care Center.
