Imogene Horsey Hudspeth, 89, of Quitman was born August 21st, 1930 in Roland, Ark., to Edna and James Horsey. She lived a long and fruitful life before the Lord called her home on November 13th, 2019. She is survived by her sister, Lorene Horsey Morgan of Little Rock, Ark., daughter Tina Hudspeth Edge (Walter) of Memphis, Tenn., two grandchildren, Ashley Edge Adams (Scott) and Walter Calvin "Cal" Edge III, and two great grand children, Kyser McBride Adams and Roy Calvin "Cal" Adams. She was preceded in death by the love of her life; husband Kenneth Lloyd Hudspeth; her parents and siblings, Lloyd Horsey, Floyd Horsey, Mac Horsey and Gene Horsey. Imogene, fondly known to many as "Nanna", was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who loved her family, friends, and neighbors well. She was known for her kind smile and sweet spirit- she could always be found visiting with friends, old and new alike. She was an active member of First Baptist Church where she rarely missed a Sunday, the EHC Club, and her beloved Tuesday Ladies Bible Study. There was no doubt that she was committed to all that she did and to all of those she loved. She brought joy to everyone simply through her presence and will be missed by all. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 17th at 3 p.m., at First Baptist Church, 201 North 4th Street Heber Springs, Ark., 72543 for family and friends to celebrate Imogene's life. A graveside service will be held Monday, November 18th at 1 p.m., at Natural Steps Cemetery, Highway 300 and Maple Avenue Natural Steps, Ark. Under the direction of Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth Funeral Home, 5800 W 12th Street Little Rock, Ark., 72204. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Salvation Army or another charity of one's choice. www.griffinleggetthealeyroth.com.
