Robert Fulton Jackson

Robert Fulton Jackson, 85, of Austin, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on November 13, 2019. Bobby, as he was known to friends and family, was born to Maycie and George Jackson on January 5, 1934 in Mississippi. He served in the United States Air Force, and later worked with his brother at his truck service in Corpus Christi, Texas. He eventually returned home to Mississippi to take care of his mother, but after retirement, moved to Arkansas to be closer to family. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Rose Marie, and his granddaughter, Kaley Swallow. Bobby is survived by his children, George Kenneth Jackson and wife, Tammy of Beebe, Arkansas; Christopher Jackson and wife, Sheri, and Devrone Swallow and husband, Marc, all of Corpus Christi, Texas. He was the beloved grandfather of Dustin, Diamond, Marshall, Sheldon, and Brannon and his five great-granddaughters: Jayla, Jayleen, Iris, Illa, and Aubrey. He is also survived by his brother George (Jack) Jackson of Corpus Christi and sister Mary Lavender of Dallas, Texas along with many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Visitation will be at 10:30 a.m. on November 19, 2019 at Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, Miss. with the service immediately following at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be at Friendship Cemetery in Como, Miss.
