Sylvia F. Wigington

Sylvia F. Wigington, 87, Rogers, Ark., passed away November 14, 2019. Sylvia was born August 21, 1932 in Wichita, Kan. She graduated from North High in Wichita, Kan., and attended the Kansas City Art Institute. After attending the Art Institute, she worked for Hallmark Greeting Cards. She moved back to Wichita and worked with her father in his tailoring shop. She also had her own business, Sylvia's Bridal, where she made bridal gowns. She loved sewing and art, especially watercolor. Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband, Vance E. Wigington, and sister Norma Mayor. Survived by her son, Kent Wigington, Topeka, Kan.; daughter DeAnne Edwards, Rogers, Ark.; grandchildren Bill, Lukas, and Quentin; nephews, and nieces. Service at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th St, Rogers, Ark., November 20, at 1 p.m. Interment in Fairview Memorial Gardens, Fayetteville, Ark.
