Joanna Wilson, 91, of Rogers, Ark. passed away at home of natural causes on October 26, 2019. Joanna was born on March 12, 1928 to Gerald "Mack" Davis and Agnes Harden Davis in Amarillo, Texas. Raised in Fritch, Texas, Joanna graduated from Phillips HS, Borger, Texas in 1945 and attended the University of Tulsa. Married to Jack L. Briggs of Borger from 1947 to 1957, they moved often with his military assignments including Germany where she made lifelong friends among the military families. Later she moved to Oklahoma City, where she was married to F.W. Wilson from 1961 until his death in 1997. In the early 1970's she retired as Media Director of HWG Advertising in Oklahoma City. They moved to Beaver Lake Arkansas where her husband opened Forest of the Ozarks, a wholesale siding/windows company in Rogers and Ft. Smith. Upon his death, she ran the companies before retiring to the quiet life she loved on the lake. Joanna was preceded in death by her husbands, parents, brother Gerald "Cotton" Davis, daughter Suzanne Michelle Briggs and great-grandson Rollin Severson. She is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline Briggs (Michael Chambers) Kaufman, Texas; sister Joyce Sullivan, nephew, Christopher Sullivan (Barbie Sullivan) Argyle, Texas; granddaughter, Lauren Carey (Andrew Page), great-grandchildren, Liam Carey and Genevieve Page of Charlevoix, Mich. as well as extended family and close friends. A memorial was held by friends on November 6th at Village on the Park Rogers and the family held a private ash scattering ceremony at Beaver Lake on November 8th.
