Mary A. Strickland

Mary A. (Bounds) Strickland, age 80, of Hampton, Arkansas died November 15, 2019 in Camden, Arkansas. She was born in Hampton September 27, 1939. She raised her family in West Helen and retired in Hampton. She was a character, beautiful pianist, captivating storyteller, a comedian, a student of the Bible, very intelligent and sentimental, and had a way of telling it like it is. Everyone seems to have a story of something she said or did. She will be missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Verlie Bounds; brothers, Ray, Lynn, and George Bounds; daughter, Sissy Tolbert; son, Mike Strickland and their father, Fay Strickland. She is survived by her children, Iris Lowder, Tom and Bill Strickland; 15 grandchildren, and 29 great-grandchildren.
