Dr. Carole Ann Maines

Rogers, AR, 1946 - 2019

Dr. Carole Ann Maines passed away in her home in Rogers, Ark., on November 19, 2019. She was the wife of Ron Maines, her husband of 51 years.
She is survived by a daughter, Jodie Maines Clements of Lowell, Ark.; a daughter, Randi Maines Walters of College Park, Md.; and a son, Mark Maines of Temecula, Calif.; and nine grandchildren.
She earned a BS in Secondary Education from John Brown University, a Master's in Education from the University of Redlands in California and a Doctorate in Counseling Education from the University of Arkansas.
She served on the faculty of John Brown University for 18 years, was named Counselor of the Year by the American Counselor Association and also appointed to the Arkansas State Board Of Counselor Examiners by then Governor Mike Huckabee.
She will be honored at 10 a.m., Saturday, December 7, 2019, at Fellowship Bible Church in Rogers and her cremains will be placed in the Prayer Garden on the church campus.
