Duane (Pinky) Privett

Duane (Pinky) Privett, 86 of Springdale passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019 at Willard Walker Hospice in Fayetteville. He was born January 11, 1933 in Osceola, Arkansas to J.C. and Rachel Corkran Privett. He worked as a machinist for many years. He was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church in Blytheville, Arkansas. He was an avid golfer and loved playing cards. He served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Princeton during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Jeanie Privett; son, James Duane Privett, brother, James "Bud" Privett; his step-father, Elmer Rice. Survivors include: two brothers, Billy Privett (Nona) of Ft. Worth, Texas, J.C. Privett (Sandy) of Dillsboro, Indiana; five sisters, Patty Samp of Knoxville, Tennessee, Elizabeth Plumley of Paris, Texas, Elizabeth Hankins of Knoxville, Tennessee, Linda Stidham of St. Ann, Missouri, and Peggy Gage, (Bob) of Springdale, Arkansas; one son, Billy Bratten (Debbie) of Phoenix, Arizona; two daughters, Kay Lentz (Paul) of Branson, Missouri and Sandy Flora (David) Blytheville, Arkansas: many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Folds of Honor, www.foldsofhonor.org.
