Physillia Gail Fry Presley passed away at home on November 25, 2019 following a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born in Judsonia, Arkansas to Collie Willard Fry and Avenell Vivian Spruell Fry. She was a Baptist. Gail was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband Thomas Presley of 57 years, three daughters, Donna Presley Odom and husband Louis of Greenwood, Missouri, Dana Presley Hall and husband Nathan of Sherwood and April Presley Thomas and husband Sage of Maumelle. Survivors also include two granddaughters, Alexandra Odom and Ava Thomas, her sister, Glenda Fry Chapman of Searcy, Arkansas, her brother, Dwight Fry of Anchorage, Alaska, several nieces and a nephew. After graduation from Judsonia High School in 1958, Gail attended Arkansas Baptist Hospital School of Nursing and graduated in 1961. While working as a Registered Nurse, she obtained her Bachelor of Science and Nursing Degree from Henderson State University in 1980. In 1993, she obtained her Master of Art Degree with concentration on Health Services Management and Human Resources Development from Webster State University. She also held a Certificate of Emergency Nursing. Gail was a prolific reader and after her retirement, she volunteered in the North Little Rock School District at Poplar Street Middle School where she read to and tutored children. The North Little Rock PTA Council named her Volunteer of the Year for 2012. Visitation will be held on November 30, 2019 at 10am at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home in Searcy with services at 11 a.m. Burial will be immediately following at White County Memorial Gardens, 604 Eastline Road, Searcy, Arkansas. The family sincerely appreciates the special care given by Tina Lemons and also Hospice Home Care. In memory of Gail, the family has requested that donations of toys, books and clothing be donated to the Salvation Army's Angel Tree program for children in need.
