Johnny Milton Porter

Johnny Milton Porter, 73, of Lonoke, Ark., peacefully passed away, Tuesday morning, November 26, 2019, with his loved ones around him. Not a person who ever crossed his path in life ever had a foul thing to say about him. He would give you the shirt off his back or stop everything to help anyone who asked. Johnny was an avid hunter and enjoyed sharing this passion with his children. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Wesley and Shawnee Benton Porter and son, John David Porter. He is survived by his beautiful wife of 52 years, Ida Faye; son, Shane Porter of Lonoke; daughter, Audra Porter-Williams of Lonoke; two grandchildren, Bradley (Ansleigh) Williams and Kayla Bennett all of Lonoke; four great-grandchildren, whom he loved spending time with; sister, Thelessia Porter of Beebe and lots of extended family and friends who will miss him a greatly until they all meet again. Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m., at Boyd Funeral Home on Saturday, November 30, with a graveside service following at 2 p.m., in Brownsville Cemetery. Arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
