Eva Mae Bevill Hall, age 96, passed away peacefully Sunday, September 29, 2019. She was born April 27, 1923 in Kensett, Arkansas to Leonard and Willie Mae Bevill. On June 18, 1948 she married the love of her life, Carlee Hall, who preceded her in death on April 28, 2007. Eva was blessed with many gifts and talents. She loved to love on people and speak words of encouragement. She never met a stranger nor passed judgment on her fellowman. Her heart was kind and understanding; her ears listened attentively, her feet were swift to move and meet needs; Her hands were always busy nurturing others, working to help provide for her family, planting shrubs and flowers in her yard, turning the pages of a book or dancing across the piano keys making beautiful music by ear. After obtaining her cosmetology license in 1960 she owned and operated Eva Hall's Beauty Shop for many years. She also obtained her realtor's license and with her husband owned and managed numerous rent houses in the Little Rock area. Blessed to retire early, Eva taught her husband to dance and together they joined several senior citizen groups and enjoyed fellowshipping with other seniors, potluck lunches and two-stepping around the dance floor. Her life was a living example of the book she cherished most, The Holy Bible. She ensured her children were raised by the Word, attended church faithfully and knew it was more blessed to give than to receive. Her Bible was always by her side or in her lap. Strength and honor were her clothing; she opened her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue was the law of kindness. She looked well to the ways of her household, and ate not the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed. Survivors include her son Wally and wife, Monica; daughters, Sue Fisher, Lola Hall and her beloved niece-child, Belinda Young; granddaughters, Tammy (Loren) Hatfield, Sarah (Ryan) Harrell, Whitney Hall and Carrie (Brad) Binns; great-grandchildren, Jeff Hatfield, Skylar Hatfield, Brianna Fisher, Aidan Fisher, twins Evelyn and Shepherd Binns, Elijah Harrell and the baby of the family, Maci Binns, two sisters, Wanda Allen of Searcy, Ark. and Jane Batton of San Pablo, California and a multitude of beautiful nieces and nephews. All of these she loved. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her only Grandson, who thought she was the boss of the world and adored her, James Brent Fisher on November 1, 2008, her brother, Junior Bevill and sisters, Catherine Durham, Louise Billings, Bobbie Jackson and Linda Payne. Please join us in celebrating her life Wednesday, October 2nd at 10:30 a.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct.
