Gale Douglass (Festus) Rush

Gale Douglass (Festus) Rush, 84 of Hazen, passed away September 28, 2019. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years, Mary A. Rush and his parents, Gale R. and Virginia D. Rush. Gale is survived by his daughters, Ginger Rush, Anita K. Aldrich, husband Jeff, and Lynne Terry and his son, Gale Rush, wife Christina; grandchildren, Kolton Douglass Kyle, Abigale Rush, Jeff Aldrich, Jr., and Joey Aldrich and great-grandchild, Stella Aldrich. Gale was a Master Gunnery Sergeant in the Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict. He worked for the Bale family for many years and retired from Bale Chevrolet as a certified master mechanic. He loved living life, the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and spinning yarns wherever he was. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at Westbrook Funeral Home in Hazen. A graveside service will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Pine Crest Cemetery, 7401 Hwy. 5 North, Alexander, Arkansas.
