Shirley Ruth Graves Lindsey, 78, of Cabot, passed from this life into her heavenly home on Sunday, September 29, 2019. She was born August 11, 1941 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to the late Bart and Dicie Edge Graves. Shirley's love of Christ was best reflected in her service and love for others. She is remembered for her selfless and giving nature, magnetic personality, contagious laugh and joyful spirit. She was a loving and devoted mother, always making family her first priority. Some of her many talents included working as a Master Floral Designer, culinary wonder to an army of hungry mouths and avid sports fan of her grandchildren's activities. She was blessed with the best of luck, always catching the biggest fish or finding the elusive four-leaf clover. The extravagant love she had for her family and her precious grandchildren will be forever treasured. She is survived by her lifelong sweetheart and devoted husband of sixty-two years, Jim Lindsey; daughters, Sheryl (Richard) Young of Cabot, Kim (Frank) Martin of Sherwood and Cindy (Ernie) Wade of Cabot; fifteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Loveta Cooper of Conway; brothers, Howard (Perri) Graves and Travis Graves all of Hot Springs and many nieces and nephews, all of whom she deeply loved. In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her son, Greg Lindsey. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, October 5, 2019 at Moore's Cabot Funeral Home with Kirk Buckner officiating. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park in Jacksonville. Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. prior to the service on Saturday. The family would like to thank the compassionate team from Baptist Health Hospice and the loving caregivers from Home Team Advantage who became part of our family. Arrangements by Moore's Cabot Funeral Home, 501-843-5816. Please sign our online guestbook: www.moorescabotfuneralhome.com.
