Ronnie Gene Birge

Ronnie Gene Birge, 70, of White Hall, Arkansas, formally of Altheimer, went to be with the Lord on October 1, 2019. He was born November 28, 1948, in Wright, to Vester Willie and Mary Elizabeth Dillard Birge. He worked with Walt Famers in Altheimer for over 45 years. He loved working on the farm, even though it was very hard work at times. He would never work anywhere else. Ronnie loved the outdoors, hunting for deer, rabbit, squirrel and duck. He loved fishing and loved to take his children fishing when they were young. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Donald Birge, Tony Birge and a sister, Willie Mae "Sissy" Birge. Survivors include his wife or 33 years, Flavia Gorman Birge, whom he married July 3, 1986; sons, David Bryan Birge (Marilyn) of Wynne, Billy Joe Birge of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Christopher Michael Birge (Lauren) of Wynne; stepsons, Warren Law of Pensacola, Florida, Will Law of White Hall; sister, Vickie Birge Kirkland of White Hall; brother, Danny Birge (Mary) of Watson Chapel; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was loved by many and will be missed by all. Visitation will be Friday, 5 to 7 p.m. at Robinson's. Funeral service will be Saturday, October 5, 2019, 11:30 p.m., Chapel of Ralph Robinson & Son. Burial will follow in Fitzhugh Cemetery.
