Frances Marie Rittman

Frances Marie Rittman, age 87, of North Little Rock, passed away October 4, 2019. She was born July 17, 1932, in Slovak, Arkansas, to Joseph Michael Bednar, Sr. and Mary Catherine Bednar. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband of over 50 years, Leland Rittman. Frances was a homemaker who spent her time making sure everyone was fed… the kitchen was never closed. Frances was a very giving person and always put her family first. She was a devout catholic and a devoted wife and mother. She coached youth basketball in Pine Bluff and volunteered at school and church. She was member of member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in North Little Rock. She is survived by daughter, Laura (Jeff) Cantwell of Little Rock; son, Kevin Rittman of Conway; two sisters, Georgia Calliotte of Kansas City and Lucille Bennett of Beaumont, Texas; four grandchildren, John and Jacob Cantwell of Little Rock and Taylor and Brooke Rittman of Conway; and niece, Jamie (Troy) Wilson of Beaumont. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 8, at 6 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, October 9, at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Father Jack Vu as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
