Johnny Lynch Matthews

Johnny Lynch Matthews, 89, of Little Rock passed away October 6, 2019. She was born July 6, 1930 in Comanche, Oklahoma to the late John and Esther Lynch. Johnny was a homemaker; she loved spending her time with family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid reader, who also enjoyed traveling, bridge, knitting and sewing. Johnny was a long time member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ in Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Steve Matthews and sister, Patsy Askins. Johnny is survived by her husband of 69 years, Bob R. Matthews, daughters, Ann (David) Ingram and Lynda (Jim) Burke, five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, sister, Helen Cook. Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Oak Grove Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Southern Christian Children's Home at P.O.
