Betty Ann Howsley

Scott, AR, 1944 - 2019

Betty Ann Howsley, 75, of Scott, Arkansas went to be with the Lord October 7, 2019 surrounded by her family. Betty was born May 23, 1944 in Moro, Arkansas to the late William and Katherine (Cagle) West.
Betty was a wonderful example of a Christian lady and servant of the Lord. She was a life-long member of Gospel of Peace Tabernacle. Betty retired from Arkansas Cardiology Clinic and then opened her first business, CLP Services, Inc., with her partner, Dan. Betty was a quiet, meek, and humble lady who may have been small in stature but had an enormous impact on others. Her hard work ethic made others think she was a "workaholic". Betty loved her family more than anything and enjoyed travelling.
Preceding Betty in death are her parents; brother, Larry West; sisters: Alice Lawson and Wilma West; and granddaughter, Summer Michelle Evans. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband, Dan Mooney of Scott, Arkansas; son, Danny Evans and wife Tina of Lonoke, Arkansas; daughter, Cyndi Smith of North Little Rock, Arkansas; three grandchildren: Tiffany Evans and partner TaShonda, Nikki Evans, and Justin Chambers and wife Tasha; five great-grandchildren; and many family members and friends who love Betty and will miss her always.
Visitation will be held from 9-10 a.m., Thursday, October 10, at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. Funeral service, officiated by Phillip Nelson, will follow at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Arkansas Memorial Gardens. Services entrusted to Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home. Online guestbook: www.SmithFamilyCares.com.
