Hot Springs, AR, 1937 - 2019

Bill Lewallen, 82, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away October 6, 2019. He was born August 17, 1937, in Springdale, Arkansas, to Gordon Wayne and Clara (Sailor) Lewallen.
Bill was a member of Grand Avenue United Methodist Church and was active in various ministries including the Noahs of Arkansas Emmaus Community. He enjoyed a 30 year career working in all areas of the poultry industry.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents.Survivors include his wife, Linda Lewallen of Hot Springs; sons, Jerry Lewallen (Pitty) of Jasper, Georgia, Doug Lewallen (Connie) of Natchitoches, Louisiana; daughter, Kristy Smith (Delous) of Destrehan, Louisiana; brother, Dick Lewallen (Betty) of Oklahoma; and grandchildren, Kyle Lewallen (Caroline), and Baylee Smith.
A celebration of Bill's life will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Grand Avenue United Methodist Church in Hot Springs with Rev. David Fleming officiating. Burial will follow at 4 p.m. at Friendship Cemetery in Springdale, Arkansas.
Honorary pallbearers are the members of the Strivers Sunday School Class and the Wednesday morning Outreach Crew.
