Perrylene Crouch

Perrylene Crouch, 95 of Benton, passed away on October 7, 2019. She was born on July 2, 1924 in Benton to the late Robert and Mary O'Neal Haygood. Perrylene was a Beautician for many years at Miller's Beauty Shop in Benton and retired at the age of 75. She led a very Blessed life and was a member of Holland Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and a member in spirit of New Life Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. Perrylene was the inspiration and strength that held our family together. She was the strongest person we have ever known. Her strength, along with her physical determination, was an inspiration for many. We thank God for putting us in her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Herman W. Crouch, daughter, Donna Kaye Crouch Ritchey, sister, Pauline Haygood Neeley, son-in-law, John C. Sims, grandson, Charles Lytle Jr.; brothers, O.W. (Dub) Haygood, A.G. Haygood, and Kermit Haygood. Perrylene is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Crouch Sims, granddaughters, Kim (Chuck) Ritchey Lytle of Forrest City, Arkansas,. Amy (Tony) Ritchey Hester of Benton, Arkansas, son-in-law, Doyle Ritchey Jr. of Benton, great-grandchildren, Michael Lytle, Hana Hester, Tony Hester, Haley Hester, great-great-grandchildren, Jarrett, John Ross, Avelee and Alexis Lytle; many friends and extended family. Graveside services by Ashbys will be 2 p.m. on Thursday at Graham Cemetery in Haskell. Visitation will be 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday at Ashby Funeral Home. Family comments: Perrylene will be missed more than words can convey. But this we know, she is in the arms of her Lord and has been perfected and healed. We know we will see her again.
