Mary Randall Cole

Mary Randall Cole, 95, of Rogers, Ark. died peacefully at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Ark., on October 11, 2019. Mary was born in Galveston, Texas, on September 29,1924. She was preceded in death by her daughter Kathryn "Katie" Finley. Mary devoted her life to helping Katie survive cystic fibrosis. In spite of great odds, Katie lived well into middle age. Mary is survived by her two loving sons, Ray M. Cole, Jr and wife, Claudia and Dr. Randall Cole and wife, Donna, as well as, her grandchildren, Marlee Homan, Kyle Cole, Dr. Charles Cole, Clay Cole and Laura Moser. There are five wonderful great-grandchildren. She found happiness in motherhood and navigated the ups and downs of military life as the wife and helpmate of Ray M. Cole of Trumann, Ark. In later life, she became a feminist and advocated for military wives' right to share in their husband's retirement pay. Her lasting legacy will be her love and mentorship of her grandchildren. Mary never liked being the center of attention. As per her wishes, there will be a private family service at Roselawn Cemetery in Little Rock, Ark. Arrangements are entrusted to Stockdale-Moody Funeral Services of Rogers.
