Mary L. Poe of Jacksonville passed away Friday October 11, 2019. She was of Paris Arkansas born July 19, 1945 in Fort Smith to Willard M. Pendergrass and Loretta G. DiGiacomo Pendergrass. Mary grew up in Fort Smith and attended catholic school. She later resided in Jacksonville where she was a devoted mother and worked as a dietary person for over 30 years in the nursing rehab industry before retiring.
She is preceded in death by her parents Willard and Loretta Pendergrass, her sister Pat weeks, and her son Michael (Mike) Poe. Her survivors are her ex-husband and best friend Laverell Poe, two sons, Frank and John Poe, her daughter, Jo Ellen Wheeler, two grandchildren, Joey and Jeffery Wheeler, and beloved niece, Elizabeth Weeks and nephew, Paul Weeks.
She will be laid to rest with her son (Mike) at the Lonoke cemetery. Arrangement by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke. www.boydfuneralhome.net.
