Billie L McDonald

Billie L. McDonald, age 81, of Fayetteville passed away Sunday October 13, 2019 in Fayetteville. He was born September 10, 1938 in Wheeler, Arkansas the son of Andrew and Lucille Thomas McDonald. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Sue Kate. He retired as a lineman from SWEPCO and was a member of the Arkansas National Guard for 17 years earning the marksman award. He graduated from Fayetteville High School in 1957 and helped take care of Mt. Comfort Cemetery for many years. He is survived by his wife Carolyn; two sons, Derick McDonald and his wife Lisal of Austin, Texas and Darin McDonald and his wife Debora of West Fork; five grandchildren, Mary Katherine McDonald, Connor McDonald, Harrison McDonald, Meg McDonald and Blake McDonald; four brothers, Donnie McDonald of Springdale, Zara Lee McDonald of Nevada, Thomas McDonald of Hindsville and Mark McDonald of Kansas and two sisters, Neil Lawrence of Kansas and Sharon Hart of Colorado. Visitation will be held 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. Thursday October 17, 2019 at Moore's Chapel. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Moore's Chapel with burial to follow at Mt. Comfort Cemetery.
