Helen Virginia Cameron

Helen Virginia Cameron, 95, of White Hall, passed away Monday, October 14, 2019. She was born August 2, 1924 in Malvern to the late Joseph Daniel and Callie Ledbetter Eason. Helen was a 1946 graduate of Malvern High School, then received her B.S.E. from Arkansas State Teachers College, which became the University of Central Arkansas. She was a teacher for 35 years until she retired from White Hall School District in 1986. She was a member of White Hall United Methodist Church, the Church Board of Stewards, United Methodist Women, served as a volunteer at JRMC for 20 years, and was a lifetime member of the White Hall PTA. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, W.H. "Dub" Cameron, whom she married July 20, 1946 in Malvern; three sisters, Gladys Johnson, Stella Williams and Cosie Hummell; and two brothers, Cleo Eason and Leo Eason. Survivors include three sons, William "Bill" (Jani) Cameron of Georgia, Daniel "Dan" (Sherry) Cameron of White Hall and Joe (Shirley) Cameron of Texas; three daughters, Stella Cameron of Little Rock, Becky (Doug) Newton of Star City and Lynn Bahls of Texas; nine grandchildren, Merideth (Chris) Donohue, Blake (Shannon) Cameron, Ashley (Ryan) Curtis, Cindy (Ryan) Gammel, Nicole (Chance) Chapman, Stephane Lecointe, Crystal (Dustin) Moore, Cassie (Jeremy) Thompson and Kristen Bahls; and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, October 18, 2019 at Robinson & Fuller White Hall Chapel with Reverend Bruce Bennett officiating. Burial will be in White Hall Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 PM Thursday at Robinson & Fuller in White Hall. Pallbearers will be Dustin Moore, Jeremy Thompson, Ryan Gammel, Blake Cameron, Chance Chapman and Stephane Lecointe.
