Nell Thompson Brown age 72, of Warren, Ark. died Monday, October 14th 2019 at Arkansas Hospice Center in Little Rock, Ark. She was born February 15th, 1947 in Warren, Ark. a daughter of the late Leroy Thompson and Opal Bryant Thompson. She was a Junior High School teacher for seven years, she then later received her accounting credits and worked with BKD accounting firm. Her greatest job was her work with the South East Arkansas Arts Center in Pine Bluff where she was the Business Agent. Her passion was in arts and crafts, she was an accomplished oil painter. She was noted for her ability in old timey sowing where she made quilts and owls for many people. She was a lifelong member of the Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church, a graduate of the New Edinburg School system and the University of Arkansas at Monticello. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Norma Ruth Thompson, brother Rev. Roy Lathan Thompson and a nephew David Thompson. Surviving is her husband Floyd Brown, whom she married June 26th 1970 at Macedonia Free Will Baptist Church. A son, Jason Brown and spouse Brigette, Garland, Texas. A nephew, Daniel Thompson and spouse Karen, New Edinburg, Ark. Funeral services 2 p.m. Thursday, October 17th at Frazer's Chapel. Burial in Reaves Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home.
