Don Wesley Siemens

Don Wesley Siemens, age 71 of Siloam Springs, Ark., went to be with the Lord October 16, 2019. He was born July 8, 1948, in Siloam Springs, Ark., the son of Walt and Margaret Walton Siemens. Don's faith in Jesus Christ was woven in every area of his life. He loved attending church, Bible studies and home fellowships. He was involved in many church ministries. He love to play the guitar, fish, hunt, crossword puzzles, and most of all spending time with his family. He was a graduate of JBU, Southeast Missouri State, and Southern Illinois University. He was inducted into the JBU Hall of Fame for his successful sports accomplishments. He never knew a stranger and loved helping others reach their potential in life. He was preceded in death by his father, Walt Siemens. Don is survived by his wife of 49 years, Cindi Grover Siemens, of the home; his mother, Margaret Weathers, of Rogers, Ark.; two sons: Erich Siemens of San Marcos, Texas and Brach Siemens and his wife, Hannah, of Chicago, Ill.; four brothers :Dan Siemens (Marilyn), Doug Siemens (Julia), David Siemens (Holly) and Dwight Siemens (Jenifer); four sisters: Walta Hattaway (Jim,) Rosanne Redditt (Dan), Lyn Spencer (Ben) and Jan Kimball (David); and one granddaughter, Iyla Siemens. A Memorial Service will be Thursday, October 24, 2019, at 10 a.m., at Sager Creek Community Church, 1600 Cheri Whitlock Drive, Siloam Springs, Ark., 72761 with Pastor Jim Henderson officiating.
