Vadis Stevens

Vadis Olivia Stevens of Rogers passed away on October 22, 2019. She was born on July 30, 1943 in Elby, Arkansas to the late Elmer and Ethel (Blair) Cooley. Vadis worked for 30 years at Daisy Manufacturing in Rogers, and for 10 years at Wal-Mart. She and her husband, Derral, were members of Cross Church in Rogers. She will be remembered as a hard-working woman who loved her family. Her survivors include her husband, Derral; her children, Tommy Stevens, Kelly Stevens, Debra Hitchcock; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Joyce Weekley. She was preceded in death by her parents; children, Jim and Janet Hoffman; and siblings, Jesse Cooley, Lloyd Cooley, David Cooley, Marvin Cooley, James Cooley, and Wanda-Carolyn Hughes. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 24 at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Vadis will be laid to rest at 2 p.m. on Friday at Plant Cemetery in Clinton.
