Flora Mae Bolden, born April 10, 1943, passed away peacefully at home on October 24, 2019. Flora was preceded in death by her long-time partner, Jim Bollinger; her parents, Troy and Marie Hubbard Crotts; her son, Jory Bolden; and three siblings, Norbron Crotts, Forrest Crotts, and Mimigene Cason. She is survived by her daughter, Belinda Boudin and husband Robert; her son, Jason Bolden and wife Sarah Keith-Bolden; four grandchildren, Robert J. Boudin and wife Daniell, Shilah Meeks and husband Austin, Alexander Bolden, and Hannah Bolden; four great-grandchildren, Robert T. Boudin, Sarah Boudin, Ellie Meeks, and Claire Meeks; and three siblings, Earl Crotts and wife Linda, Pat Frank and husband Larry, and Sherry Bartlett. Flora was an avid hunter and a devoted partner, mother, and grandmother. Her life was characterized by hard work and determination. In her forties, determined to overcome poverty, she began selling boots out of a van. She earned an accounting degree and eventually owned seven successful boot and western-wear stores and managed a cattle farm. She had a tireless work ethic and personally opened her store in Ravenden, Arkansas, seven days a week for years on end. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday at First Presbyterian Church in Little Rock. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church in Little Rock.
