Charles Floyd Daniel Sr.

Charles Floyd Daniel Sr., age 88 formerly of Searcy, Ark., passed away after a lengthy battle with dementia, in Nashville, Tenn., on Thursday, October 24, 2019. Mr. Daniel was born in Montgomery, Ala. He was a proud graduate of Auburn University & served his country as a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force. Preceded in death by parents, John Tyson Daniel Sr. & Ethel Hart Daniel; brothers, J.T. Daniel & Gerald Lee Daniel; beloved wife of 62 years, Juanita Daniel; grandson, Michael Daniel. Mr. Daniel is survived by: son, Dan (Donna) Daniel, Franklin, Tenn.; daughter, Nita (Tony) Woodruff, Scottsdale, Ariz.; son, John Daniel of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Bonnie Daniel (Marshall) Rabil of Franklin, Va., Beau (Whitney) Daniel, Nashville, Tenn., Becky Daniel, Franklin, Tenn., Brian Daniel, Nashville, Tenn., Anthony (Melissa) Woodruff, Scottsdale, Ariz., Daniel (Jordan) Woodruff of Scottsdale, Ariz., Jonathan (Christina) Woodruff, of Knoxville, Tenn., Susanna Daniel of Nashville, Tenn.; 11 great-grandchildren & many nieces & nephews. Mr. Daniel devoted his life to serving Jesus & His Church, his family, the many foster children they cared for in their home, the Harding University family, & the work of the Children's Home. He will be remembered by his family & friends for his wisdom, humor, and the joyful attention he lavished on each grandchild & great-grandchild. The family will honor his life with a private gathering at a later date & requests memorials be made to Harding University, 915 E.
