John H. Watt Sr.

JOHN H. WATT SR., age 83 of Little Rock, passed away Friday, October 4, 2019 at the V.A. Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born October 22, 1935 in North Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Charles Harvey and Jessamine Jeffery Watt Jr. John served two years in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was employed with Armour Pharmaceuticals until retiring. John was also preceded in death by a son, Jeffery Harrison Watt in 1990. He was a member of Baring Cross Baptist Church in North Little Rock. He is survived by two sons, The Reverend John Harvey Watt Jr. of Little Rock, Charles Joseph Watt of Tulsa, Oklahoma; brother, Reverend Charles E. Watt of Cabot; grandchildren, Samantha Watt, John Harvey Watt III and Ethan Watt; great grandson, John Harvey Watt IV. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Mt. Olive, Arkansas.
