Michael Paul Gunter

Michael Paul Gunter was born January 5, 1959 and he passed away Saturday, October 26, 2019. In 1982, Michael met the love of his life Debbie Holloway. On August 6, 1983, they married and embarked on a new life together. It's a love that lasted over 36 years. Michael was employed by Alter Trading Corporation. He was an avid outdoorsman whose passion was fishing and hunting; spending the majority of his free time with Debbie, the kids, and pets, Tripp and Gracie. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Neva Gunter, grandparents, P.V. and Thelma Gunter, Jessie and Zetta Stringfellow. He is survived by his wife Debbie Gunter; two children, Colby Gunter (Jessica Jervis) and Krista Gunter; sister, April Gunter Eagle (Ronnie); brothers, Steve and Danny Gunter; mother-in-law, Dell Holloway; brother-in-law, Johnny Holloway; nieces and nephews, and a host of family and friends. Memorials may be made to Renew Community Church, 1122 South Second St., Cabot, Ark. 72023 / Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. Family will receive friends at 2 p.m. for Visitation and the Funeral Service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, October 31, 2019 at Renew Community Church, Cabot. Burial will be at Hickory Plains Cemetery, AR State Highway 13, Hickory Plains, Prairie Co., Arkansas. Pallbearers are: Steven Gunter, Danny Gunter, Ronnie Eagle, Dustin Eagle, Bryan Eagle, and Paul Goss. Honorary Pallbearer, Johnny Holloway.
