Donald Ray Canfield, age 77, of Brentwood, passed away Monday, October 28, 2019 at Washington Regional Medical Center. He was born November 23, 1941 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas to Howard D. Canfield and Zella Keys Canfield. He was preceded in death by his parents and his two brothers Dale Canfield and Howard Canfield Jr.
He graduated from West Fork High School in 1960. He was a carpenter and worked in construction all of his life. He served in the Arkansas National Guard.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary Mugley Canfield; three sons, David & wife Becky Canfield of Brentwood, Arkansas, Kevin & wife Wendy Canfield of New Boston, Texas and James Canfield of Brentwood, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Colton, Jade, A.J., Dalton and Nicole Canfield; two sisters, Christine Reed and Norma Seely and husband Donnie Seely of Brentwood, Arkansas and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. – 7 p.m., Friday, November 1, 2019 at Moore's Chapel. Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Saturday at the Winslow Assembly of God Church followed by burial in Brentwood Cemetery, under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
