Kirk Edward Baker

Kirk Edward Baker, 39, of Bryant Arkansas, passed away October 26, 2019 in Ames, Iowa. He was born on August 24, 1980 in Little Rock Arkansas. He was a Business Development Manager for Interstate SignWays in Little Rock, Ark. Kirk graduated from Bryant High School in 1998 and from Arkansas Tech University with a Bachelor's Degree in Speech Communications in 2002. Kirk was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers and Arkansas Razorbacks fan. In his free time, he could be found on the soccer field cheering on Blake or on the golf course. Kirk loved his family and friends, loved life, and always loved to have a good time. He is preceded in death by his infant daughter, Madelyn; Maternal grandparents, James and Dorothy Burkes and Irene Burkes; and Paternal grandparents, Roy F. Baker and Alice Samuel. He is survived by his wife, Jamie (Poor) and son, Blake of Bryant; Parents, Roy E. Baker and Kathy L. (Burkes) Baker of Alexander, Ark.; and brother, James R. Baker (Lindsey) and two nieces, Kayleigh and Josie Baker of Alexander, Ark. A Visitation will be held Friday, November 1, 2019 at 12 noon at Pinecrest Funeral Home, with a Celebration of Life to follow at 2 p.m.. Burial at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
