Larry Dale McGinley, of the East End Community, went to meet his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, October 28, 2019, at the age of 66. Born May 17, 1953, to the late Dan and Eva McGinley. He was preceded into heaven by his son, Heath McGinley; sister, Eloise Forte Davis; great-nephew, Eli McGinley. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Sherre Reeder McGinley; son, Brad and daughter-in-law, Serena McGinley of Sheridan; grandchildren, Gracie, Gavin, Miley, and Eva McGinley; brothers, Danny (Brenda) and Clinton (Gina) McGinley both of East End; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whom he loved dearly. Dale worked for many years at Little Rock Sheet Metal, serving as shop superintendent, and member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local 36. Dale loved and took pride in his work and enjoyed the friendships of all his co-workers and clients. He was a charter member of the Springlake Church of the Nazarene. He loved his church and attended faithfully, while serving in many different ways such as board member, building and grounds committee, youth director, and Sunday School Superintendent. Dale was an avid hunter and fisherman. He spent many deer seasons at the WD Oliver Hunting Club. He not only enjoyed time in the woods, but time around the camp fire with family and friends. He loved catching bream and crappie at Lakeside Country Club, where he served on the board of directors. He often caught his limit and kept the freezers full of fish for family and friends. Dale was also passionate about helping others and lent a helping hand to those who needed it. Memorials can be made to Springlake Church of the Nazarene Memorial Fund, 21607 North Springlake Road, Hensley, Arkansas 72065. Pallbearers will be Jake McGinley, Jesse McGinley, Ben Forte, Steve Wilson, Mike Drake, and Deon Gaither. Honorary Pallbearers will be Larry Ball, Todd Oliver, and Jack Stephenson. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Springlake Church of the Nazarene with Bro. Phil Stein officiating. Burial will follow in McPherson Cemetery.
