Ruth E. Dickson

RUTH E. DICKSON passed away August 24, 2019 at the age of 94, one week shy of her 95th birthday. She was born in Mabelvale, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wright and Ione Bolick; husband, Jean H. Dickson; siblings, Harry Bolick, Dorothy King and Louise Henderson. Survived by her son, Gale Dickson and daughter-in-law, Doris; granddaughter, Donna Dickson and partner, Andrea Cadelli; brother, Wayne Bolick and numerous nieces and nephews. Ruth enjoyed cooking, gardening and working in her yard. She was a graduate of the Little Rock High School Class of 1942 and was active in the Faith Lutheran Church of Little Rock serving as a past president of the Altar Guild for over ten years, past president of the WELCA group and also helped at the food pantry. Ruth was active in the Brady Homemakers Club in Little Rock for many years and she also served as a polling place volunteer during many elections. Ruth loved her many friends and the staff at Andover Place, where her favorite activity was bingo. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
