Jerome Kinley (Ken) Johnson Jr.

Jerome Kinley (Ken) Johnson, Jr., of Fayetteville, passed away on September 3, 2019. He was born December 5, 1961 in Little Rock, Ark. His family moved to St. Louis in 1967. Growing up in St. Louis, Ken was very active in sports, participating in football, hockey and track. His love for sports continued throughout his life as he was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball and the St. Louis Blues hockey teams, as well as any Arkansas Razorback sport. He was involved in various ventures and occupations, including owning a restaurant in Fayetteville for a short time, working for the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Harp's grocery store on Garland. He had his ups and downs and struggles throughout his life, but one constant was the love for his two children. He was preceded in death by his mother, Pansy L. Johnson and his first wife and mother of their two children, Kristi Johnson. He is survived by his father, Jerome Kinley Johnson Sr. and wife Carol of Fayetteville; son, Jordan Johnson and wife Jacki and granddaughter, Eloise of Springdale; daughter, Jaimisen Johnson Harris and husband Creede of Wesley.
