Darrell D Lawson

Darrell Lawson was born in Little Rock, Ark. on August 29, 1966 to his parents, Gaston and Ruth Lawson. He departed this life on September 3, 2019. Darrell was a quiet, loving child who enjoyed music and books. He graduated from LR Central High School in 1985, and later joined the US Marines. He retired from the military in 2006. He then worked with the Army as a civilian. Preceding him are his father and brother, Chris. Surviving him are his mother, Ruth Lawson; brother, Kenneth Lawson (Rhonda); sisters, Teresa Lawson and Alicia Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Public viewing will be Wednesday, September 11, 2019, 1-4 p.m. Funeral service will be Thursday, September 12, 2019, 10 a.m. Both services at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 Chester St., LR (501) 372-1305. Interment at AR. State Veterans Cemetery.
