David Chestine

David Louise "Teddy Bear" Chestine, 65, of Fordyce died Friday September 6, 2019 at Dallas County Medical Center in Fordyce. Born December 29, 1953 at Harvey, Illinois, he was a son of the late Farris Maxwell and Addie Douglas Chestine. He was a technician at the Fordyce Water Department for nine years. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Phillip Maxwell; sisters, Donetta Chestine, Gail Alexander, Loretta Chestine; son, David Wilkerson. He is survived by his wife, Doris Chestine; sons, Sedric (Mia) Smith, Jerry Nelson, Wesley Nelson, Anwan Brown, Daryl Stephens; daughters, LaKenya Wilkerson, Addie Brown, Ruby Brown, Felicia Nelson, Lyric Nelson, Imjan Nelson; brother, Gary (Dora) Chestine; sisters, Doreen Maxwell, Zina Chestine; grandchildren, Cam'Ron Nelson, Ja'vonn Nelson, Harmony Nelson; good friend, Calvin Lewis and a host of nieces and nephews.
