Jerry Eugene Townsend, age 86, of Redfield, passed away on September 6, 2019. He was born in Roland, Arkansas, on April 9, 1933 to the late Allen and Amanda Gentry. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mona Townsend; grandson, Ryan Reed, and two sisters. He was a lifetime member of the Oak Grove Hunting Club in Cornerville and a retired Truck Driver.
Jerry is survived by his daughter, Geri Reed; son, Allen Townsend; step-son, Timothy Cooper; granddaughter, Rachel Reed, and special friend, Jane Marsh.
A family planned Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 14, 11 a.m., at Redfield United Methodist Church, 210 River Road, Redfield. Visitation will follow in the Fellowship Hall.
